Lisa and Nick

What a fabulous day it was for Lisa and Nick – the weather was as perfect as were the bride and groom! Lisa and Nick were two kids in a candy store and so in love and could hardly wait to marry one another. I usually have to ask a bride and groom to kiss once in awhile but not Lisa and Nick, if anything I had to tell them to stop kissing…. My side kick, Liz McCormick of Elizabeth McCormick Photography and I really enjoyed watching them so in love.

Lisa and Nick picked a lovely location, The Inn at Fernbrook Farms, from the Inn where they got ready, the beautiful property that had a lot of different locations to photograph, the beautiful gardens where they had their outdoor ceremony, to the beautiful Reception where they danced the night away . Even Grandma danced the night away and would put many of us to shame.

A special thanks to Susie from The Inn at Fernbrook Farms and to Dawn of  Mane Street Catering – both were wonderful!

What a fabulous day and so happy we were part of their day! Best wishes to both of you love birds – enjoy your honeymoon!IMG_3992-2-2IMG_3713-2IMG_9367IMG_3844IMG_9378IMG_3902IMG_3976IMG_3979IMG_3974-2-2IMG_3896IMG_4666IMG_4509

Thank you again for choosing Sue B Photography!

Black and White

As many of you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE black and white images but tend never to show all black and white on my blog. As I edited this images I kept seeing black and white, not sure if it was the “cool” looks of the kids or the feel of the setting. Either way I had a blast with these guys and really enjoyed photographing all of them – even the dog was cool and into the images. When teenagers tell me they had a great time it really makes me feel good! Thanks for being such great kids and hip Mom!blog--5blog--6blog--4blog--3blog-0601blog--8blog--2blog-0631blog-blog-2

Liz - Ooh, what a fabulous couple and great images, Sue! Can't wait to photograph their wedding with you.

Kristen and Dan

Great location. Check. Great Weather ( tad hot). Check. Great people. Check. We had such a fun time with Kristen and Dan – both are wonderful and a joy to be around (yes Dan you really are a great guy but Kristen got the bride of the year award – LOL).  I had the pleasure of spending the day with my trusty side kick Liz of Liz McCormick Photography ), who is not only a wonderful photographer but the most awesome person and can’t thank her enough for all she did during this wedding!  Enough ranting and raving over Liz since it was Kristen and Dan’s special day….

Liz and I started our day off at The Dancer Farm Bed and Breakfast where both Dan and Kristen got ready, then headed to Laurita Winery . Kristen and Dan both looked stunning and the winery made a beautiful backdrop so it was easy to capture some artistic images of the two of them and their wedding party. After the ceremony it was onto a fun time as the crowd danced the night away with “Don’t call me Francis” band. Kristen rocked the dance floor all night !

A special thanks to Jody from Louis Christian Salon Spa for making Kristen and Dan look stunning twice, Pete of First Floor Videographers for being a joy to work with, Beautiful Blooms, Conroy Caterers (Adam was great), Proud to Plan for helping with details of the wedding. And a very special shout out to Laurita Winery for allowing us to capture Kristen and Dan again, they were wonderful to allow me to recapture Kristen and Dan at another date  when it was not so hot. 90’s was a bit hot on their wedding day… and last but not least Millie of Millie’s Photography,LLC for being my other side kick for this wedding and sharing your great wits, talent and time.

Thank you again Mr and Mrs Dan McLaughlin, your family and friends  — you are all amazing!

Ashley and Jeff

These lovebirds have known each other forever and are still in love. They were engaged at the same corner they used to meet at when they were growing up…  Ashley was the perfect bride, beautiful, sweet and very efficient… she was dressed when we arrived at her Mother’s house, which was a first for us! We spent some time with Ashley  and then headed over to have fun with the guys and then back to Ashley’s for the reveal (check out the cool mirror shot). After that we were joined by the dogs for the ceremony and off to the reception that was fun for all…

A special thanks to Liz of Elizabeth McCormick Photography for helping me shoot the wedding. It is always a blast shooting with you and really appreciate all your help.

Ashely you looked beautiful and Jeff looked stunning! Thanks for allowing us to capture your special day.

Liz - Ashley & Jeff are an amazing couple and I had a blast photographing them with you, Sue! Best of luck to the newlyweds.

Lorelei - Ashley and Jeff, your wedding was a lot of fun and you looked stunning (as did your mom)! I know you'll love your pictures. Sue is a great photographer who captures who you are! Enjoy.

Dana and Nick

I met Dana during a Susan G. Komen fundraiser at Pricewater House and she mentioned she was getting married soon and really wanted Engagement pictures because they had won a wedding photographer who was from Atlanta so didn’t have them done by the photographer. I am so happy  we were able to set up an appt. for Dana and Nick. They are sooooo in love and were such a pleasure to photograph! When we talked about a location Dana wanted something a little different then an urban e-session because their wedding is going to be in the city on July 4th in the constitution center, an amazing backdrop for their upcoming military wedding. I had the pleasure to photographing Dana and Nick with Millie from Millie’s Photography, LLC – thanks Millie for all your help and amazing talent!

It was exciting to hear about your wedding and wish you the best of luck. I can’t wait to see pictures from your wedding day – you are both are going to look stunning!IMG_8581-EditTDSC_0170-EditTIMG_8467TIMG_8439TIMG_8625-EditTIMG_8454-EditTIMG_8508-EditTIMG_8636-Edit-EditT

Millie - beautiful children, all red heads, the interaction is simple everyday, kids love, mom and dad look perfectly comfortable and dad loves his family and it shows. Nice job Sue!

Brother and Sister…

What a handsome brother and his beautiful sister I had the pleasure of photographing. I couldn’t have asked for a better day  or subject!  Both were wonderful and it was such a pleasure to spend time with them.  Thank you!IMG_8180-Edit-EditTUntitled-1IMG_8242-Edit-EditTIMG_8142-Edit-EditTIMG_8124-Edit-Edit-EditTIMG_8190-EditTIMG_8212-EditTIMG_8250-Edit-EditT

The Beautiful Couple and the Mean Old Rooster

Photographed a great couple at “The Inn at Fernbrook Farms” last night. When we arrived we were not sure where to start to take their portraits because it is such a beautiful venue so we started by the barn where we were quickly put on notice that we were trespassing “Mr Rooster”… he chased them off the step and was not a nice Rooster. He must have failed the school of sharing! It was first time from being chased out of a location by a rooster! We were able to get lots of great shots with this unique wedding venue and was great getting to know Lisa and Nick a little better. I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding at the same location in Sept! A special thanks to Millie of Millie’s Photography for having fun with us and sharing her talent and time.IMG_7090-Edit-Edit-EditT-2Untitled-1IMG_7103-EditTDSC_0081-Edit-EditT copy 2IMG_7262-Edit-Edit-Edit-EditTIMG_7230-Edit-Edit-Edit-EditTIMG_7281-Edit-EditT-2DSC_0108-2-EditT-2IMG_7332-Edit-EditTIMG_7321-Edit-EditT-2IMG_7285-Edit-Edit-EditTIMG_7363-Edit-EditTDSC_0127-Edit-Edit-Edit-EditT
